Zabroso Restaurant features Spanish and Latin American-inspired
cuisine created by owner and chef Ruben Lopez.
After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in 1999,
Ruben worked in restaurants throughout New York and
Connecticut, including La Panetiere and Bernard's,
both NY Times-rated three-star restaurants.
Most recently, Ruben was at the Turning Stone Resort
where he started as Sous Chef in Wildflowers at the Lodge.
After two months, he was promoted to Chef de Cuisine
for Churrascari Rodizio and and helped open the restaurant in 2005 before
serving as Chef de Cuisine for the Forest Grill Steakhouse.
