Silverware has been made in Sherrill, NY since 1914. Discover the history of the craft – Oneida Community, Ltd. to Sherrill Manufacturing – that made Madison County known throughout the country. Go behind the scenes for a first-hand look inside the factory of the only brand of silverware still produced in the United States: Sherrill Manufacturing's Liberty Tabletop. The factory was built in 1863 by the Oneida Community for the manufacture of animal traps.
Participants will meet at the Mansion House before proceeding to the factory.
