The Oneida Community Mansion House was the 93,000 Square ft. Home of the Utopian Oneida Community (1848-1880)
The Community’s progressive philosophy is evident in the Mansion House itself, the design of which reflects their values and social organization.
Today, the National Historic Landmark, is a destination where visitors can enjoy historic rooms and interpretive exhibits in the museum, as well as programs, venue rentals, and overnight lodging in the Inn. The Mansion House is surrounded by 33 acres of landscaped lawns, gardens, trails and a historic golf course.
Since 1987, Oneida Community Mansion House (OCMH)—a 501(c)3 non-profit organization—has operated and maintained this National Historic Landmark. Their mission is to tell the story of America’s most successful experimental community and the joint stock company that emerged after its breakup.
