About the Event

In honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States, a group of Madison County historic sites and history enthusiasts are partnering to offer a scavenger hunt that highlights historic markers, funded by the William G. Pomeroy Foundation, across the County and the amazing stories they tell about our local history.


 

What is it?

This event is free to the public and will be open from April 24 to August 15, 2026. Participate by picking up a paper copy at your local Madison County public library, the Madison County Historian’s Office or the Oneida Community Mansion House.
