Meet the Artist: Cultivating Community
Join artist Laura Reeder, PhD for a conversation about "Cultivating Community" which is a project that she developed through walking, documenting, and artmaking at the Oneida Community Mansion House over many months and seasons. A colorful installation of her work is currently on view in the library. Â Reeder is interested in relationships between people and places. At OCMH, she explored ways that communities and utopias were imagined here: in nature, in the Mansion, and beyond. She will discuss discoveries and invite participants to share ideas as well.Â
