November Getaway

Join us for a special overnight stay and dive into the curiosities of the Oneida Community!  This unique experience will take you into the basements, towers, and lesser-seen areas of  this National Historic Landmark.

The event starts with a family-style dinner with all attendees followed by the popular Tunnels & Towers Tour exploring the people, spaces, and practices that made the Oneida Community one of the most radical and successful social experiments of its time. After an overnight stay in the newly renovated guest rooms, attendees will enjoy a light breakfast with fresh-made local pastries. Following breakfast, participants will go on a private tour of the former Oneida Ltd. factory, now home to Liberty Tabletop, the only American-made flatware company!

Details:

-Dinner by the chefs at Creekside Inn,  featuring herb roasted chicken, roasted potatoes and carrots, wild rice, and a comforting butternut squash soup. To top it all off, we’ll have a selection of delicious  fall desserts!

-Wear comfortable shoes! We will be navigating narrow spaces, climbing stairs, and walking.

-The factory tour is located just over a mile from the Mansion House @ 102 E Seneca St, Sherrill.

-Suggested for those ages 16 and over.

-Notify us in advance if any dietary or mobility accommodations are needed!

In the event of cancellation:

• Please make your cancellation in writing (Email is fine. You can expect a response within 48 hours.) All cancellations are subject to a $25 processing fee.
• Cancellations 60 days before the event will receive a full refund (less processing fee).
• Cancellations 59-14 days before the event will receive a 50% refund (less the processing fee).
• There is no refund for cancellations received less than 14 days before the start of the event – no exceptions.

*The Oneida Community Mansion House occasionally uses photographs and videos of event participants in promotional materials. By virtue of your attendance, you agree to usage of your likeness in such materials. Please notify OCMH if you do not wish to have your image/video used in promotional materials
