Celebrate What We’ve Accomplished Together! 

See what’s happening at the Mansion House—from exhibits to programs to preservation—as you chat with staff, docents, and board members.

The Mansion House has recently completed a significant preservation campaign and launched new educational programs. During this open house, visit stations in the building and on the grounds to experience this recent progress first-hand. We'll also be sharing a preview of the upcoming ONEIDA, LTD. exhibition. 

A few of our Open House Highlights and Stations:

• In the Library with Curator of Collections, Emily Stegner: Get up close with some of the treasures of the Oneida Community Mansion House Collection.
• An exterior tour with Director of Buildings and Grounds, Mike Colmey as he shares details of the recent Preservation Work!
• Learn about OCMH's educational programming, including a new temporary exhibit curated by Colgate University Students. Students will be on hand to explain their works.
• Take a look inside “The Inn at the Mansion House” and see the beautifully remodeled guest rooms—perfect for your next getaway.
• Visit the Nursery Kitchen to learn more about how the OC cared for its dozens of children.
• Learn about the amazing braidings of Oneida Community member Jessie Catherine Kinsley and hear the story of a recently discovered braiding.
• Enjoy Fall refreshments in the Lounge.
