About the Event
In honor of Preservation Month, join us for an outside, guided architecture and historic preservation tour!
Led by Tom Guiler, Director of Museum Affairs, and Mike Colmey, Director of Buildings and Grounds, this tour delves into the architectural history of the Mansion House. Get exclusive access to our 10 year, 10 million dollar historic preservation effort at the Mansion House--including the extensive work done in Phase 1 and a preview of what is to come in Phase 2.
- This event is free with a suggested donation of $15. All proceeds will go towards our ongoing historic preservation work.
- Attendees will park in the rear of the building and meet at the front door of the Mansion House.
- This tour will be held outdoors, so be sure to plan for the weather and wear comfortable shoes!
At the end of the tour you will be given an opportunity to buy a copy of Anthony Wonderley’s new book “The Look of Utopia,” with historic images and a detailed overview of the building’s architecture and history.
