Cultural Landscape Report

The goals of the Cultural Landscape Report were to determine how the Oneida Community Mansion House landscape appeared and functioned throughout its 176-year history; to determine a period (or periods) of significance to which the landscape should be preserved; and to develop a phased plan to stabilize, restore, rehabilitate, and/or reconstruct the landscape to reflect this (or these) period(s). Objectives for meeting these goals included documenting the physical development of the landscape, documenting and assessing existing conditions, developing a preservation treatment plan, and establishing management guidelines.
